Charles Leclerc is a Monégasque professional racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari, using car number 16.
He was born on October 16, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Leclerc began his racing career in karting at a young age and quickly progressed through the junior ranks, winning the GP3 Series championship in 2016 and the FIA Formula 2 championship in 2017, which showcased his exceptional talent.
He made his Formula One debut in 2018 with the Sauber team (now Alfa Romeo) before moving to Ferrari in 2019. At Ferrari, he has secured multiple Grand Prix wins and pole positions, establishing himself as one of the sport's leading drivers and a central figure in Ferrari's future plans.
