Craig Revel Horwood - Dancer

Craig Revel Horwood Age: 61 Country: Australia Occupations: Dancer

Craig Revel Horwood is an Australian-British choreographer, dancer, conductor, theatre director, author, and television personality.

He is best known to UK audiences as the longest-serving and sharp-tongued judge on the BBC's dance competition series, Strictly Come Dancing, a role he has held since the show's inception in 2004. He is known for his highly critical assessments and trademark catchphrases, often featuring exaggeratedly lengthened vowels, such as "Fab-u-lous!" or "a complete dahnce di-sah-ster, dahling."

Before his TV judging career, he had an extensive background in dance and theatre, working as a choreographer and director on numerous West End and UK touring productions, including musicals like Miss Saigon and My One and Only. He also directed the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
