Jake Joseph Paul is an American professional boxer, influencer, and actor. He initially gained fame in 2013 on the short-form video application Vine before transitioning to YouTube, where he became known for vlogs, stunts, pranks, and music. He also had a brief acting career, starring as Dirk Mann on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark from 2016 to 2018.
Paul is one of the world's most-followed content creators, often referred to by his nickname "The Problem Child." In 2018, he began a transition into professional boxing, winning an amateur white-collar match against fellow YouTuber Deji Olatunji. He made his professional debut in 2020 and has since built a successful boxing record by fighting and defeating opponents who were often crossover athletes from other sports, including former basketball player Nate Robinson and several former MMA fighters like Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva. He has since also founded a boxing promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, and a venture capital firm.
