Janel Parrish is an American actress, singer, and songwriter who first gained fame as a child performer. Born on October 30, 1988, in Hawaii, she began her career at age six, starring as Young Cosette in the Broadway production of Les Misérables.
She is most widely recognized for her following major roles:
Mona Vanderwaal in the popular mystery-drama series Pretty Little Liars (2010–2017) and its spin-off, The Perfectionists.
Margot Song-Covey in the Netflix film trilogy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018–2021).
Jade in the 2007 live-action film Bratz.
Beyond her acting career, Parrish is a classically trained pianist and vocalist. She competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2014, finishing in third place, and later reached the finals of The Masked Singer in 2023 as "Gazelle." In recent years, she has become a staple of the Hallmark Channel, starring in numerous romantic comedies and holiday films, such as Coyote Creek Christmas and Two for Tee.
