Katrina Kaif is a British actress and model who primarily works in Hindi-language films (Bollywood). Born in British Hong Kong on July 16, 1983 (as Katrina Turquotte), she holds British citizenship. She is counted among India's highest-paid actresses and is noted for her roles in action films and her dancing ability.
She began modeling as a teenager in London and made her film debut in the 2003 film Boom. Although her initial films were not successful, she achieved commercial success in Bollywood with films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005) and Namastey London (2007). Her career includes major box-office hits such as the action thrillers Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Dhoom 3 (2013), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Sooryavanshi (2021), and Tiger 3 (2023). She has received several awards and nominations, including multiple Filmfare Award nominations.
