Eric Church (born Kenneth Eric Church on May 3, 1977) is an American country music singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his "outlaw country" and southern rock style. Originally from Granite Falls, North Carolina, he began writing songs at age 13 and later moved to Nashville after graduating from Appalachian State University.
