Lauren Conrad is an American television personality, fashion designer, author, and entrepreneur. She first rose to prominence as the main cast member on the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County (2004-2006), which chronicled her high school life. She then starred in its successful spin-off, The Hills (2006-2009), which followed her move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the fashion industry, including internships at Teen Vogue and People's Revolution.
Following her reality TV career, Conrad successfully transitioned into a businesswoman. She is the founder of the popular clothing and home decor line LC Lauren Conrad, sold exclusively at Kohl's, and the co-founder of The Little Market, a non-profit fair trade online marketplace.
