Lil Tay, born Claire Eileen Qi Hope (also known as Tay Tian), is an American-Canadian internet personality and rapper who achieved controversial viral fame in early 2018 at a young age. She became known as "the youngest flexer of the century" for her sensationalized social media content, which featured her using expletives, boasting about wealth, and showing off luxury cars and stacks of cash. This online persona, which was allegedly coached by her older half-brother, attracted millions of followers but also widespread criticism for the nature of the content and concerns over exploitation. After her initial rise to fame, she largely disappeared from social media for several years amid a family custody battle. She later resurfaced in 2023 following a false death announcement posted to her Instagram account. Since returning to the public eye, she has pursued a music career and, upon turning 18, launched a controversial adult content account.
