Maura Lynn Tierney is an American actress known for her work across television, film, and theater.
Early Life and Education
Born on February 3, 1965, in Boston, Massachusetts, she grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood. She studied drama at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts, and later attended New York University, where she studied dance and theater. She also trained at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career in the late 1980s.
