Rodrygo Silva de Goes, commonly known as Rodrygo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who primarily plays as a winger for La Liga club Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
Born in 2001, he began his professional career with Santos in Brazil before making a €45 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2019. Since then, he has established himself as a prominent member of the squad, contributing to multiple major title wins, including two UEFA Champions League trophies.
Rodrygo is highly regarded for his pace, technical skill, and direct style of attacking play. He is an excellent dribbler with a low center of gravity, which allows him to change direction quickly and beat defenders in one-on-one situations. He is also a versatile player who can be deployed across the front line, including on the right or left wing, and as a second striker or central forward.
