Russell Westbrook is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Sacramento Kings (as of 2026). Known for his relentless intensity and explosive athleticism, he is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic point guards in NBA history.
He is most famous for his historic triple-double performances—recording double digits in points, rebounds, and assists in a single game. Westbrook holds the all-time NBA record for career triple-doubles and famously became the first player since Oscar Robertson to average a triple-double for an entire season, a feat he has achieved four times.
