Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter, and actress, born on May 11, 1999, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.
She first rose to prominence through her acting work, most notably for her role as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World from 2014 to 2017.
Her music career began with Hollywood Records, where she released her debut single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" in 2014 and her first studio album, Eyes Wide Open (2015). She later signed with Island Records. Her fifth album, Emails I Can't Send (2022), included popular singles like "Nonsense" and "Feather."
Her sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet (2024), achieved significant commercial success, topping the Billboard 200 and featuring hit singles like "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," the latter becoming her first US Hot 100 number one single. The album also earned her two Grammy Awards.
