Torger Christian "Toto" Wolff is an Austrian billionaire investor, motorsport executive, and former racing driver. He is best known as the Team Principal, CEO, and co-owner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team.
Under his leadership, the Mercedes F1 team achieved unprecedented success, winning eight consecutive Formula One World Constructors' Championship titles from 2014 to 2021.
Wolff began his career in motorsport as a racing driver in the early 1990s, competing in series like the Austrian Formula Ford Championship and winning his class in the 1994 24 Hours Nürburgring. He later transitioned to a career in business and investment, founding investment firms like Marchfifteen and Marchsixteen, which focused on internet and technology companies as well as strategic investments in industrial companies.
He entered Formula 1 management by acquiring a stake in the Williams F1 Team in 2009 and served as an Executive Director before joining Mercedes in 2013, where he took a 30% stake in the team and became Head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport. He currently holds a one-third share of the Mercedes F1 team alongside INEOS and Daimler AG. He is married to former racing driver Susie Wolff.
