Ysabel Ortega, whose full name is Maria Ysabel Ortega Lapid, is a Filipino actress, commercial model, singer, and dancer. She was born on January 25, 1999, in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She began her career in 2014 and made her first appearance in the 2015 series On the Wings of Love. She gained prominence for playing the main antagonist Charlotte "Charlie" Quiñones in the TV series Pusong Ligaw (2017–2018). After four years with ABS-CBN, she transferred to GMA Network in 2019.
A significant role in her career is portraying Jamie Robinson, the lone female in the main cast, in the 2023 live-action adaptation of the Japanese animated series, Voltes V: Legacy. She also starred as Cynthia Macaraeg in the 2022 series What We Could Be, her first lead role. She won the New Movie Actress of the Year award at the 2024 PMPC Star Awards for Movies for her role in the film Firefly (2023).
Aside from acting, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2021. She is the daughter of former actor-turned-politician Senator Lito Lapid and former singer-actress Michelle Ortega.
