SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN (SVT) is a South Korean boy band formed by Pledis Entertainment, debuting in 2015. The group consists of thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. They are widely known as a "self-producing" idol group, with members heavily involved in songwriting, music production (primarily Woozi), and choreography (primarily Hoshi). The group's name, SEVENTEEN, is derived from the expression "13 members + 3 teams + 1 group," representing the 13 members divided into three specialized sub-units: the Hip-Hop Team, Vocal Team, and Performance Team, all coming together as one cohesive group. They are critically acclaimed for their powerful, synchronized performances, earning them titles like "Performance Kings." Their music style is diverse, often covering themes of youth and love. Their official fandom name is Carat.
