      Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques OD is a Jamaican dancehall singer and rapper, born on January 9, 1973, in Kingston, Jamaica. He is known for blending his Caribbean style of music with hip-hop and for his pop-friendly party jams.

      He gained international fame with his second album, Dutty Rock (2002), which won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. This album featured major hits like "Get Busy," which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His third album, The Trinity (2005), produced another number one hit, "Temperature."
