    Born on January 11, 1979, in Pahang, Malaysia, she began her career at the age of 16 after winning the local singing competition Bintang HMI in 1995. Her debut single, "Jerat Percintaan," became a major hit. Throughout her career, she has sold over six million albums, making her one of the best-selling recording artists in Malaysian history. Her music spans multiple genres, including pop, ballads, and traditional Malay ethnic music, and she has recorded songs in numerous languages, such as Malay, English, Arabic, Mandarin, and Tamil.

    Her notable achievements include winning over 300 local and international awards, such as 42 Anugerah Industri Muzik and multiple World Music Awards.
