Andrew Dennis Biersack (born December 26, 1990), formerly known as Andy Six, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the rock band Black Veil Brides and is its only remaining original member.
Biersack was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. At age 14, he and some friends formed their first band, which eventually grew into Black Veil Brides. He moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue his career, including a brief time in acting. Black Veil Brides signed with an independent label in September 2009. The band's debut album, We Stitch These Wounds, was released in 2010.
In 2014, he started a solo music project under the name Andy Black and released his debut album, The Shadow Side, in 2016. He has suffered several stage injuries while performing with Black Veil Brides, including broken ribs from a fall in 2011.
His wife is Juliet Simms, whom he married in 2016.
