Ashby Gentry is a television and film actor and performer, known widely for his work on the 2023 Netflix series, My Life with the Walter Boys, where he played the role of Alex Walter.
He was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and has stated that he comes from a "small family." Gentry attended Boston University, where he pursued a BFA, specifically at the College of Fine Arts School of Theater.
His professional acting debut was in a 2018 short film titled Speechless. Before his major role in My Life with the Walter Boys, he also guest-starred in the reboot of the Nickelodeon program Are You Afraid of the Dark? in 2022.
The actor is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and supported the Writer's Guild of America members by picketing during the 2023 work stoppages. He is a fan of Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings and also enjoys video games.
