Zachary Levi is an American actor, singer, and director born on September 29, 1980, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is best known for starring as the title character in the TV series Chuck (2007-2012) and as Shazam in the DC Extended Universe films Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023). Levi has also voiced Flynn Rider in Disney's Tangled (2010) and appeared in films like Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok as Fandral. He has worked in theater, including originating the role of Georg in the Broadway musical First Date, and hosted the web series Geek Out.
