Avan Jogia is a Canadian actor known for his roles in television and film.
He first gained prominence for playing Beck Oliver in the Nickelodeon television series ***Victorious*** (2010–2013). Following that, he starred as Danny Desai in the ABC Family (now Freeform) mystery series ***Twisted*** (2013–2014).
More recently, he has appeared in the main role of Ulysses Zane in the Starz comedy series ***Now Apocalypse*** (2019) and as Tutankhamun in the Spike miniseries ***Tut*** (2015). In film, he played Leon S. Kennedy in ***Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City*** (2021).
Jogia is also known for his activism and for co-founding the organization Straight But Not Narrow, which aims to prepare and educate straight youth and adults on how to be allies to their LGBTQ+ peers. He has a distinctive look, often noted for his long hair.
