Christopher Maurice Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and actor. He is an R&B musician whose work often incorporates pop and hip-hop influences, and his singing and elaborate dancing skills have frequently drawn comparisons to Michael Jackson.
Brown rose to fame with his self-titled debut album in 2005, featuring the number-one single "Run It!". He continued to have significant commercial success with subsequent albums and numerous hit singles like "Kiss Kiss," "Forever," and "Look at Me Now." He has sold over 140 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists globally, and has won multiple awards, including a Grammy.
