Daddy Yankee, whose real name is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor widely known as the "King of Reggaetón." He is credited with coining the term "reggaetón" in 1994 and is a pioneer in bringing the Latin urban music genre to a global audience.
