Dakota Johnson is an American actress born on October 4, 1989, in Austin, Texas. She is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Her film debut was a minor role in Crazy in Alabama (1999), and she later had a minor part in The Social Network (2010).
Johnson's breakthrough role came as the lead character, Anastasia "Ana" Steele, in the erotic romance film series, the Fifty Shades trilogy (2015–2018).
