Liam Hemsworth is an Australian actor best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series.
He was born on January 13, 1990, in Melbourne, Australia, and is the younger brother of actors Chris Hemsworth and Luke Hemsworth.
Hemsworth began his career in Australian television, notably playing Josh Taylor in the soap opera Neighbours and Marcus in the children's series The Elephant Princess. His breakout role in the United States was in the 2010 movie The Last Song opposite Miley Cyrus, whom he later married and divorced.
Following The Hunger Games, he has starred in films like The Expendables 2, Independence Day: Resurgence, and Isn't It Romantic. He is also scheduled to take over the role of Geralt of Rivia in the fourth season of the Netflix series The Witcher.
