Joelle Joanie "JoJo" Siwa is an American singer, dancer, actress, and media personality.
She was born on May 19, 2003, in Omaha, Nebraska. Siwa first rose to fame by appearing as a dancer on the reality television shows Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition and later for two seasons on Dance Moms.
She is known for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store." Her signature look for many years included wearing large, colorful bows in her hair, which she turned into a successful line of accessories. She also posts daily videos of her day-to-day life on her YouTube channels.
In 2017, Siwa signed with Nickelodeon, acting in various television shows and films and releasing several children's songs. In 2021, she competed on the thirtieth season of Dancing with the Stars.
