Declan Rice is an English professional footballer widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, known for his versatility, tackling, and ball-carrying ability. He primarily plays as a defensive or central midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team.
Rice started his youth career at Chelsea before joining the West Ham United academy in 2013, where he rose to become a key first-team player and club captain. He led West Ham to the UEFA Europa Conference League title in his final season (2022–23). In July 2023, he transferred to Arsenal for a British-record fee.
