Arsenal F.C.
Arsenal Football Club, nicknamed "The Gunners," is a professional football club based in Islington, North London, England. They compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English football.
Arsenal is one of the most successful clubs in English football history, having won 13 league titles, a record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, and one European Cup Winners' Cup. A major historical achievement is their 2003–04 league season, where they went the entire Premier League campaign undefeated, earning them the moniker "The Invincibles."
The club was originally founded in 1886 by a group of munitions workers in Woolwich (hence the cannon on their badge and nickname). Since 2006, their home ground has been the Emirates Stadium. They have a fierce and long-standing rivalry with nearby club Tottenham Hotspur, known as the North London Derby. The club is known for a style of football that often emphasizes technical skill, passing, and attacking play.
