Genevieve Padalecki (née Cortese; born January 8, 1981) is an American actress. She is widely known for starring as Kris Furillo in the television series Wildfire (2005–2008) and for her recurring role as the demon Ruby in the series Supernatural (2008–2009; 2011; 2020).
She later had a recurring role in the CW series Walker (2021–2024), playing Emily Walker, the late wife of the lead character Cordell Walker, who is played by her real-life husband, actor Jared Padalecki.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She and Jared Padalecki married in 2010 and have three children. They reside in Austin, Texas.
