Guz Khan, whose birth name is Ghulam Dastgir Khan, is a British comedian, writer, and actor from Coventry. He initially gained prominence through online videos performed under the guise of "Guzzy Bear," featuring various characters, including Mobeen.
He is best known as the creator and star of the award-winning BBC sitcom Man Like Mobeen, which focuses on the character Mobeen, a British-Pakistani Muslim living in Small Heath, Birmingham.
Guz Khan is also a stand-up comedian who has appeared on shows like Live at the Apollo and Taskmaster (Series 12). His acting credits include roles in the film Army of Thieves and the TV series Our Flag Means Death, Turn Up Charlie, and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Before becoming a full-time comedian, he worked as a Humanities teacher. He is married and lives in the West Midlands with his five children.
