Jared Padalecki is an American actor, born on July 19, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas. Standing at an impressive 6 feet 4 inches tall, he first gained widespread recognition for his role as Dean Forester in the teen drama series Gilmore Girls (2000–2005), where he portrayed the charming boyfriend of Rory Gilmore. He later achieved massive fame as Sam Winchester, one of the two central brothers in the long-running supernatural horror series Supernatural (2005–2020), opposite Jensen Ackles; the show became a cultural phenomenon, spanning 15 seasons and earning him a dedicated fanbase.
