Emily Olivia Laura Blunt is a British and American actress known for her versatility across a range of genres, from comedy to action and drama.
She first gained widespread attention for her breakthrough role as the sharp-tongued assistant Emily Charlton in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada. Her notable filmography includes starring roles in The Young Victoria, the science fiction action film Edge of Tomorrow, the musical fantasy Into the Woods, the thriller The Girl on the Train, and the horror film series A Quiet Place, directed by her husband, actor John Krasinski. In 2018, she played the title role in Mary Poppins Returns. Her performance as Kitty Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's 2023 film Oppenheimer earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
