John Krasinski is an American actor, filmmaker, and writer. He is widely known for his starring role as Jim Halpert on the popular NBC sitcom The Office (2005–2013).
Following his work on the sitcom, Krasinski successfully transitioned into both action roles and acclaimed directing/writing projects. His other notable works include:
* Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018–2023): Starring as the title character, Jack Ryan, in the Amazon Prime Video thriller series, for which he was also an executive producer.
* A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II (2020): He directed, co-wrote, and starred in these highly successful post-apocalyptic horror films, alongside his wife, actress Emily Blunt.
