Jonathan Taylor (born January 19, 1999) is an American professional football running back for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL), wearing jersey number 28.
He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2017 to 2019, where he became one of the best college rushers ever, being the first player in FBS history to rush for over 6,000 yards in any three-year span. He was a two-time winner of the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back.
Taylor was selected by the Colts in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. In the 2021 season, he led the NFL in both rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, earning honors such as First-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowl selection. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl in the 2024 season.
