Joshua David "Josh" Duhamel is an American actor and former fashion model, born on November 14, 1972, in Minot, North Dakota.
He began his acting career in 1999, first appearing as an extra in music videos, and then landing the role of Leo du Pres on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children, for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award. He later starred as Danny McCoy on NBC's TV series Las Vegas from 2003 to 2008.
Duhamel is widely known for his film roles, particularly as Captain William Lennox in four of the Transformers movies, from the 2007 film to Transformers: The Last Knight (2017). His other film credits include romantic comedies and dramas such as Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004), When in Rome (2010), Life as We Know It (2010), Safe Haven (2013), and Love, Simon (2018). He also starred in the video game Call of Duty: WWII (2017). He has also worked as a director, writer, and producer, including for the film Buddy Games.
He was married to singer Fergie from 2009 to 2019, and they have one child together. He married Audra Mari in 2022. He attended Minot State University, where he played as a backup quarterback for the football team.
