Kevin Durand is a Canadian actor known for his work in numerous film and television roles. He was born on January 14, 1974, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and is of French-Canadian descent.
He is widely recognized for playing characters such as Vasiliy Fet in The Strain, Martin Keamy in Lost, Joshua in Dark Angel, and Fred Dukes / The Blob in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Other notable roles include Little John in the 2010 film Robin Hood, Gabriel in Legion, Barry Burton in Resident Evil: Retribution, and Frederick Gideon in Locke & Key.
Durand married Sandra Cho in 2010, and they have two children. He often portrays characters on both sides of law enforcement, including both heroes and villains. His supporting performance as Lenny Jackson in Citizen Gangster earned him a Genie nomination in 2012.
