Marwan Kenzari is a Dutch-Tunisian actor born in The Hague, Netherlands, in 1983. He began his career in 2008 and gained prominence for his role in the 2013 film Wolf, which earned him a Golden Calf award for Best Actor. Since 2016, he has appeared in numerous English-language films, achieving international recognition. His notable roles include the villain Jafar in Disney's live-action Aladdin (2019), Yusuf Al-Kaysani / Joe in The Old Guard (2020) and its upcoming sequel, and Ishmael Gregor / Sabbac in Black Adam (2022). He has also appeared in films such as The Mummy (2017) and Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and the TV series The Night Agent.
