Mike Shinoda is an American musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer who co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996.

He is widely known for his multifaceted roles in Linkin Park as the:

* Co-lead vocalist (rapping and singing).

* Rhythm guitarist.

* Keyboardist and piano player.

* Primary songwriter and producer.

In addition to Linkin Park, he created the hip-hop side project Fort Minor in 2004, and he has also pursued a solo career under his own name, releasing the album Post Traumatic in 2018.

Shinoda is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration, and his background in visual arts is evident through his work on album artwork and various art exhibitions. His musical style blends genres including rap rock, alternative rock, hip-hop, and nu metal. He is also the co-founder of Machine Shop Records.
