Mike Shinoda is an American musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer who co-founded the rock band Linkin Park in 1996.
He is widely known for his multifaceted roles in Linkin Park as the:
* Co-lead vocalist (rapping and singing).
* Rhythm guitarist.
* Keyboardist and piano player.
* Primary songwriter and producer.
In addition to Linkin Park, he created the hip-hop side project Fort Minor in 2004, and he has also pursued a solo career under his own name, releasing the album Post Traumatic in 2018.
Shinoda is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration, and his background in visual arts is evident through his work on album artwork and various art exhibitions.
