Rudy Mancuso, born Rodolfo Mancuso on February 28, 1992, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, is an American internet personality, musician, filmmaker, and actor of Italian-American and Brazilian descent. Raised alongside his sister Marianna by an Italian-American father and Brazilian mother, he attended Glen Ridge High School and Rutgers University in Newark, and spent time living in Rio de Janeiro, where he became fluent in Portuguese.
Mancuso rose to fame on Vine in 2013 with comedic skits featuring Latino characters and in-real-life (IRL) videos, often collaborating with friends. He partnered with Shots Studios and expanded to YouTube in 2016, creating the popular Awkward Puppets channel known for its multi-voiced puppetry humor. As a musician, he has released singles like "Mama" and collaborated on tracks with artists such as Alesso, while directing music videos for Lele Pons ("Celoso"), Alesso ("REMEDY"), and O.A.R. ("Miss You All The Time").
In film and TV, Mancuso starred in the 2019 Netflix sci-fi adventure Rim of the World, appeared in A Celebration of the Music from Coco (2020) and The Flash (2023), and wrote, directed, and starred in the 2024 romantic comedy Música, inspired by his own experiences with synesthesia—a condition that causes him to perceive sounds as colors and shapes, which influences his creative work.
Personally, Mancuso has been in a relationship with actress Camila Mendes (known for Riverdale and Do Revenge) since mid-2022; they met on the set of Música and went Instagram official on Valentine's Day 2023. On October 24, 2025, he proposed to her during a surprise engagement party disguised as a birthday celebration for a mutual friend, surrounded by family and loved ones.
