Sadie Elizabeth Sink is an American actress, born on April 16, 2002, in Brenham, Texas.

She began her acting career in theater, notably playing the title role in the musical Annie (2012–2014) and a young Queen Elizabeth II in the play The Audience (2015) on Broadway.

Sink's breakthrough role came when she portrayed Max Mayfield in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things (2017–present), a role she joined in the second season. She received critical acclaim for her performance in its fourth season.

Other notable roles include the lead role in Taylor Swift's short film All Too Well (2021) and a critically acclaimed performance in the psychological drama film The Whale (2022), for which she received a Critics' Choice Movie Award nomination. She also appeared in the horror film trilogy Fear Street (2021). In 2025, she returned to Broadway in the play John Proctor Is the Villain, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play.
