Shalom Harlow is a Canadian model and actress who achieved supermodel status by the late 1990s, having started her career in the early 1990s.

She was born on December 5, 1973, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, and was discovered at age 17 at a Cure concert in Toronto. Known for her presence and fluid, expressive movement on the runway, she quickly became a favorite for both commercial and high fashion campaigns.

In 1995, she was the first winner of the Vogue/VH1 Model of the Year award. She co-hosted MTV's House of Style with fellow model Amber Valletta. She is also known for her appearance in Alexander McQueen's iconic Spring/Summer 1999 show, during which two robotic arms spray-painted her dress while she stood on a revolving platform.
