Sidharth Malhotra is an Indian actor who primarily works in Hindi films, also known as Bollywood. He began his career as a fashion model before transitioning to film, first working as an assistant director for Karan Johar's film My Name Is Khan (2010). Malhotra made his acting debut in Johar's commercially successful teen drama Student of the Year (2012), for which he received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Male Debut. His notable films include the thriller Ek Villain (2014), the family drama Kapoor & Sons (2016), and the critically acclaimed biographical war film Shershaah (2021), where he played the dual role of Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra and his twin brother. He is a recipient of several awards and has appeared on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list. He is married to actress Kiara Advani.
