Taylor Lautner is an American actor best known for his role as Jacob Black, the werewolf, in The Twilight Saga film series from 2008 to 2012.
Born on February 11, 1992, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lautner began his career as a child actor after starting martial arts at a young age, earning his black belt by age eight and winning several junior world championships.
Before Twilight, he appeared in films such as The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D (2005) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005). Following the massive success of the Twilight films, he starred in action thrillers like Abduction (2011) and later appeared in films such as Grown Ups 2 (2013) and the BBC sitcom Cuckoo.
He is a recipient of multiple awards, including several Teen Choice Awards. Lautner married his partner, Taylor Dome, in 2022.
