Tina Knowles-Lawson (born Celestine Ann Beyoncé) is an American businesswoman, fashion designer, author, and philanthropist.

She is widely known as the mother of singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles and the former wife of their manager, Mathew Knowles.

Tina Knowles' fashion career began by designing and creating costumes for the girl group Destiny's Child (which included her daughter, Beyoncé, and Kelly Rowland) in the early stages of their career. She later co-founded the popular fashion brands House of Deréon (named after her mother, Agnéz Deréon) and Miss Tina by Tina Knowles.

Beyond her business ventures, she is an active philanthropist, having co-founded the Knowles-Rowland Center for Youth and the Survivor Foundation after Hurricane Katrina. She is also the Chairwoman of the BeyGOOD foundation. She is also a co-founder of the WACO Theater Center in Los Angeles.

She published her memoir, Matriarch, in 2024. She was married to Mathew Knowles from 1980 to 2011, and to actor Richard Lawson from 2015 to 2024. She is often referred to as a "Matriarch" and an influential figure in the careers of her daughters.
