Tyler Hubbard is an American country music singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the multi-platinum country-pop duo Florida Georgia Line.
Born on January 31, 1987, in Monroe, Georgia, Hubbard grew up playing music in church and later attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. It was there that he met Brian Kelley, with whom he formed Florida Georgia Line in 2010. The duo rose to massive fame with their 2012 breakout hit "Cruise"—the first country song to earn a diamond certification from the RIAA—and released a string of major chart-toppers including "H.O.L.Y." and "Meant to Be" featuring Bebe Rexha.
After Florida Georgia Line went on hiatus in 2021, Hubbard transitioned into a successful solo career. He released his debut solo single, "5 Foot 9," in 2022, which reached No. 1 on country radio, followed by his self-titled debut solo album in 2023 and his sophomore album Strong in 2024. As both a performer and prolific songwriter, he has earned dozens of No. 1 hits and written songs for various artists across the country music landscape.
