VideoGameDunkey (often just called Dunkey) is the online persona of Jason Gastrow, a popular American YouTuber and video game critic. He is best known for his humorous, fast-paced video game reviews, playthroughs, and commentary, which feature a distinct blend of deadpan delivery, surreal humor, and sharp, insightful game critique.
Dunkey’s content usually falls into two main categories: comedic gameplay videos with over-the-top reactions and satire, and more sincere, analytical game reviews under his "Dunkview" series. Despite his penchant for absurdity, his critiques are widely respected in the gaming community for their honesty, particularly regarding game design, pacing, and industry trends.
In addition to his YouTube channel, Gastrow and his wife, Leah, launched Bigmode in 2022, an indie game publishing company aimed at helping quality, developer-focused indie games reach a wider audience.
