Korn

Korn is an American nu metal band known for pioneering the genre in the mid-1990s. Their music is characterized by heavy, distorted guitar work, often employing seven-string guitars, deep, sludgy bass lines, distinctively layered and rhythmic drumming, and the raw, emotionally charged, and often scat-singing vocal style of frontman Jonathan Davis.

Lyrically, their songs frequently explore themes of pain, social alienation, childhood trauma, addiction, and personal struggle, contributing to their dark and intense sound. Key albums like their self-titled debut (*Korn*) and Follow the Leader cemented their status as a major force in alternative and heavy music.
