Aaron Taylor-Johnson (born Aaron Perry Johnson; 13 June 1990) is an English actor. He began acting at the age of six and has received a Golden Globe Award, along with nominations for two British Academy Film Awards.
He gained recognition for his portrayal of John Lennon in the 2009 biopic Nowhere Boy and for playing the title character in the superhero film Kick-Ass (2010) and its 2013 sequel, Kick-Ass 2. Other notable film appearances include Godzilla (2014), playing Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and the crime thriller Nocturnal Animals (2016), for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. More recent roles include the action films Tenet (2020) and Bullet Train (2022). He is also known for starring in the upcoming Marvel movie Kraven the Hunter (2024).
He married director and photographer Sam Taylor-Wood (now Sam Taylor-Johnson) in 2012, and they have two daughters together. He and his wife jointly changed their last name to Taylor-Johnson.
