Ross King is a Scottish television and radio presenter, actor, producer, and writer. His full name is Derek Ross King.
He is widely known for his work as the Los Angeles Correspondent for the ITV breakfast programs Lorraine and Good Morning Britain. He has been in this role, or a similar one for previous ITV breakfast shows, since 1993.
He has a career that spans over 30 television series and has worked extensively in radio, including on Scotland's Radio Clyde and London's Capital Radio. King has won multiple awards, including four News Emmys and a Golden Mic award for his work as the entertainment anchor on KTLA/The CW Channel 5's Prime News. He was also a contestant on the reality show Strictly Come Dancing in 2025.
For his services to broadcasting, the arts, and charity, King was appointed an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2018 New Year Honours. He is also an author, having written best-selling novels.
