Amanda Seyfried is an American actress, singer, and former model. Born on December 3, 1985, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she began modeling as a child before transitioning to acting as a teenager on daytime soap operas.
She achieved her mainstream Hollywood breakthrough as Karen Smith in the 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls. She has since built a highly versatile career across comedies, dramas, and musicals.
